The Striking Yellow-Striped Nano Beauty of the Atlantic
The Wrasse Bass (Liopropoma eukrines) is a small but incredibly striking marine species, easily identified by its elongated, torpedo-like body and the vibrant, glowing yellow horizontal stripe bordered by deep dark margins running from head to tail. As a peaceful, bottom-dwelling species, this vibrant basslet is an absolute gem for nano reef aquariums, bringing a burst of color and fascinating behavior to rocky crevices and overhangs.
Key Features of this Edition:
Global Presence: Native to the warm, coral-rich and rocky reef environments of the Tropical Western Atlantic.
Specialized Behavior: A secretive yet active bottom dweller that loves to dart in and out of rocky caves and intricate structures, making it a perfect candidate for well-aquascaped tanks.
Natural Habitat & Diet: In the wild, it hunts micro-fauna along the reef structure. In a home aquarium, it requires a nutritious, carnivorous diet of high-quality marine invertebrates and small meaty live or frozen foods.
Lighting Preference: Thrives in brightly lit environments but prefers to stay out of direct sunlight, often seeking the shaded security of the rockwork.
[Exclusive Video Observation Included]
This edition includes an HD short observation clip showcasing the Wrasse Bass’s spectacular yellow stripe, its sleek swimming profile, and its fascinating crevice-dwelling behavior.
Best for: nano marine aquarists, reef enthusiasts, basslet collectors, marine biologists, and lovers of small, peaceful, and highly colorful bottom-dwelling species.
