The Striking Blue-Striped Juvenile

​The Majestic Angelfish (Pomacanthus navarchus, formerly Euxiphipops navarchus) undergoes a dramatic transformation as it matures. In its Juvenile phase, as depicted in this edition, it features a mesmerizing pattern of alternating dark blue and bright white to electric blue vertical stripes covering its entire body and fins. It prefers tanks with plenty of coral and rockwork for grazing and hiding, and typically swims in the middle of the water column.
