The Striking Beauty of the Indian Ocean
The Indian Butterflyfish, also known as the Headband Butterflyfish, is a remarkably striking and relatively deep-water inhabitant of the Northern and Western Indian Ocean. Characterized by its brilliant yellow to orange body boldly intersected by two thick, diagonal black bands, this peaceful species is a true masterpiece of the marine environment.
