The Gem of the Red Sea

The Arabian Picasso Triggerfish (Rhinecanthus assasi) is the exquisite cousin of the classic Picasso Trigger. Distinguished by the striking vertical black bands on its tail base and a vibrant orange ring around its eyes, this species is a visual masterpiece found primarily in the Red Sea and Western Indian Ocean.

Like other triggerfish, the "Assasi" is full of personality and intelligence. It is a robust carnivore that requires a spacious tank with plenty of rockwork. Due to its territorial nature and potential aggression towards tankmates, it is marked as not recommended for beginners.

This CECOZ Digital Marine Atlas edition combines cinematic 4K marine artwork with accurate scientific information — delivering both a stunning visual experience and a practical educational reference.
